AI4Kids project develops a novel methodology in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) Education, the teaching of Artificial Intelligence. We design a unique introduction to programming and AI environment in which students teach robots & drones to solve simple and more complex real-life problems. Within a given social scenario, like helping health-care of elderly people, we are aiming kids to engage in computational and creative thinking activities where they learn how to program robots and train their own AI models. The project outlines four cornerstones of computational thinking: decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction, and algorithms.

Within the project scope, JunIT (Junior IT) Lab, a research and development platform for juniors, will be established to prepare the kids for the digital future with the help of artificial intelligence.
